About
Helena Verrill is a part time mathematics tutor at Warwick University, previously an assistant professor at Louisiana State University. She has home schooled her own children, now aged 11 and 6. She enjoys showing the beauty of mathematics through art work, and showing how much fun it can be with puzzles and games. So as well as offering standard tutoring, she runs origami workshops (including sesonal origami, geometric origami, tessellations (advanced), and origami for the very youn) and presents the Liverpool "fun maths road show" to school groups and home education groups.
